Timo Suojävi CV

I am an active and innovative prosthodontist from Helsinki, Finland. My clinical focus has been in implantology, oral surgery and prosthodontics since my graduation as a DDS in 2004. In my clinical work I have been actively adopting and using digital technologies and CAD/CAM applications in dentistry since 2006. I have worked with several Intra Oral Scanners and have been actively using and developing Computer Guided Implantology softwares (SMOP, Planmeca, Simplant, Implant Studio) and Smile Design Concepts. Currently we mainly work with 3shape IO scanners and Implant Studio software. Besides clinical work, I am an active speaker/lecturer for many acclaimed educational organizations in Finland and internationally. Continued education and improving the quality and success of prosthetic treatment overall is something I am very committed to.

Clinically we have acclaimed the reputation as the go-to-clinic in complex prosthodontic and implant treatments in Finland. Over the years we have built a very strong team of specialists (OMF Surgeon Ilkka Pallonen, Orthodontist Virpi Myller, endodontists, general practitioners, dental hygienists and dental technicians) working seamlessly together to solve even the most complex cases with predictable and esthetically optimal results. We also arrange educational events together and share the passion of pushing the limits of what is possible and can be expected, functionally and esthetically. I am very proud and happy to be a part of this team.

Alongside clinical work, I have also worked quite extensively in business management side of corporate life as a founder, investor, board member and director.

In my free time (depending on the season) I´ll be most probably found in the archipelago sailing or near mountains skiing with my family and friends. I also have competitive background in sailing, skiing and tennis.
